Teaching and Learning

Here at St Joseph’s, we are passionate about teaching and learning and we are constantly striving to move forward in this area, trying new methods and using progressive approaches to sharing knowledge and retaining it.

We are an IL School with a large number of teacher trained in the Instructional Leadership Programme.

We are consistently engaging with the SSE model to ensure that we are always improving and evaluating our progression.

We have a Teaching and Learning staff team and regularly hold focus groups with students to assess how they are experiencing learning in the classroom. We then use this information to improve our practices.
