We now not only have a team of teachers who are dedicated to doing work in this area but we now also have a new team of Mercy Student Leaders. These are students who volunteered to do work on promoting our ethos, fostering our characteristic spirit and developing our faith as a school community.
They help us to celebrate important times in our liturgical calendar such as “November, we remember”, Christmas, World Religion Day, Lent and Easter to name but a few. They have responsibility for decorating our sacred space and they run initiatives to engage our entire student body during these special times.
This year they attended and represented us at the CEIST Student Leadership Conference held in DCU.
