2021/22 has been a fabulous year for boys basketball here in the Bridge. Reaching the All Ireland Final in The National Basketball Arena and a great finish by First and Secondary Years lining out and getting game time at a blitz hosted by Tullamore College.
Our Second Years picked up 2 wins on the day while our two first year teams finished in places 1 and 2. This gave us the overall team award. A fitting end to a great year.
We would to thank @TullamoreCollege for orgainising the competition. Extremely well run and the hospitality was first class. Looking forward to repaying the favour next year.
A special word of thanks also to Eimhinn Whelan for helping out with coaching and kits.
Mr Cole and Mr Lee would like to thank all the players and their parents for their efforts this year. On the court and in the stands this year has been one we will long remember. Looking forward to the future.
